The AP88 sensor belongs to the AP8-series K-band sensors designed for general mid-range applications. The design maximizes features, and optimizes range, detection angle and cost in a low profile package. Designed with dual RF and I-Q quadrature channels, the AP88 is able to simultaneously discriminate target angle and direction for multiple targets. Its built-in LNA and pre-amplifiers reduces the need for additional external amplifiers. Typical applications include obstacle detection, radar speed signs, traffic monitoring, sports radars. security detectors, vehicle blind-spot detectors and other applications that require general angle discrimination, ranging and motion detection.
